The most popular way to create contacts is one at a time
The simplest way to add a contact is to create them on the Contacts page. After you create a contact, you can invite them immediately or choose to delay inviting them. If you delay inviting them, the contact will be in a Not invited status, which can be helpful if you first want to set up the contact profile and take actions like upload files, assign forms, etc. While a client is in Not invited status, they will not receive any email notifications.
Navigate to the Contacts page.
Click on New contact and then Create contact.
Enter the contact’s information. Companies (if enabled) are optional.
Click on Create.
After you create a contact, if you have magic links enabled, you’ll see the share magic link modal. Here you can take one of three actions:
To share the invite link with a contact manually, click Copy magic link.
To send an email invite, click on Email magic link.
To delay inviting the contact, click on Close. You can invite the contact later from the Contacts page.
If you do not have magic links enabled, you will see the invite modal. Here you can take one of three actions:
To share the invite link with a cotnact manually, copy the invite link and close the modal.
To send an email invite, click on Send email invite.
To delay inviting the contact, click on Close. You can invite the contact later from the Contacts page.
